A base, not a room
Somewhere between working from your kitchen table and signing a lease.
You are a member of the building rather than a tenant of one room. Reserve a desk a day or two ahead when you want to work here, meet a client in the meeting room at the member rate, and put a downtown street address on your cards instead of your house.
It suits consultants, agents, remote workers and anyone whose business is mostly them and a laptop but occasionally needs to look and feel like more than that.
What $150 a month covers
What this is not
It is not drop-in coworking. There is no room of open desks you can turn up and use.
Reserve ahead — a day or two of notice, by email or text — and we will have a desk for you. Turn up unannounced on a busy day and there may not be one free.
If you need somewhere to sit every day, a private office is the honest answer. All seven are leased at the moment, but they turn over and the waitlist is how they get filled.
The address
Register a business in North Carolina and the address you file becomes public record. For anyone running one from home, that is reason enough on its own.
A downtown street address also reads differently to a client, a bank or a supplier than a residential street does — and packages have somewhere to go that is not a doorstep.
Check with whoever files your paperwork about what your particular filing needs. A business address and a registered agent address are different things, and we would rather you asked than assumed.

Membership questions
How much is desk membership?
$150 a month, month to month. It covers reservable desk space, the business address, mail held for you, parking, keyless access, the meeting room at the member rate, and studio credit.
Can I just turn up and work?
Reserve a day or two ahead and we will have a desk for you. There is no room of open desks standing empty, so unannounced on a busy day may not work.
Can I use the address for my business?
Yes, that is part of the membership. Check with whoever files your paperwork about what your specific filing requires — business address and registered agent address are different things.
Do you hold packages?
Yes, letters and packages both. Access is keyless so you can collect at any hour.
Is there a contract?
Month to month. We are not looking to tie anyone into something that stops suiting them.
What if I need a room of my own?
Private offices run $550 to $700 a month, all-inclusive. They are fully leased right now — join the waitlist and we will tell you the moment one opens.
